Kopru helps international patients understand, compare, and coordinate healthcare journeys in Turkey. Kopru is not a hospital, clinic, doctor, healthcare professional, emergency service, insurer, travel agency, legal adviser, financial adviser, or immigration adviser. Medical care is provided only by licensed healthcare providers, and practical third-party services are provided by the relevant third parties.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the website or services. If you use Kopru on behalf of another person, you confirm that you have authority and permission to do so and that the other person understands these Terms.
1. About Kopru and our role
Kopru is a patient-side support and coordination service. We may help you understand available options, compare provider information, prepare questions, organize documents, coordinate communications, and arrange practical support before, during, or after a healthcare trip.
Kopru does not provide medical examination, diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions, medical monitoring, clinical aftercare, or emergency response. Kopru also does not control, supervise, employ, certify, or manage healthcare providers, hotels, transfer companies, translators, insurers, payment providers, or other third parties unless we expressly state otherwise in writing.
Any agreement for medical treatment is between you and the relevant healthcare provider. Any agreement for travel, accommodation, transfer, insurance, financing, translation, or other third-party service is between you and the relevant third-party provider.
2. No medical advice
Information from Kopru is provided for general understanding, administrative support, and coordination only. It is not medical advice, clinical judgment, diagnosis, treatment planning, a recommendation that a procedure is suitable for you, or a substitute for consultation with a licensed healthcare professional.
Kopru may help you prepare questions, organize medical documents, or transmit information to a provider, but the provider is solely responsible for assessing suitability, explaining risks, obtaining informed consent, performing treatment, giving aftercare instructions, and managing complications.
You must seek advice from qualified medical professionals before making any healthcare decision. You should not ignore, delay, or change medical advice because of information received from Kopru, the website, a coordinator, a partner, or another user.
3. No emergency service
Kopru is not an emergency service, urgent care service, crisis line, or real-time medical monitoring service. We do not guarantee immediate responses and we are not responsible for monitoring your symptoms, recovery, or clinical condition.
If you experience a medical emergency, severe pain, breathing difficulty, bleeding, infection signs, allergic reaction, mental health crisis, or any urgent symptom, contact local emergency services or go to the nearest medical facility immediately.
4. Eligibility and user responsibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Kopru for yourself. If the patient is a minor or lacks legal capacity, the request must be made by a parent, guardian, or other person legally authorized to act for the patient.
You are responsible for your decisions, including whether to travel, which provider to choose, whether to accept treatment, whether to continue with a booking, what information to disclose, and whether to follow provider instructions. Kopru can support your process, but does not make final decisions for you.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You must not submit false, misleading, incomplete, unlawful, or unauthorized information, and you must not submit another person's personal or health information unless you have valid permission to do so.
5. Provider information and no endorsement
Kopru may present information about clinics, hospitals, doctors, services, availability, packages, prices, accreditations, reviews, facilities, locations, and treatment areas. This information may come from public sources, provider communications, partner input, user feedback, or our own research.
We aim to make information clearer, but we do not guarantee that any provider information is accurate, complete, current, suitable, lawful in your jurisdiction, available, or free from error. Providers may change prices, packages, doctors, availability, terms, policies, or medical opinions at any time.
References to a provider do not mean that Kopru medically endorses, certifies, guarantees, warrants, or accepts responsibility for that provider. You are responsible for verifying the provider's credentials, licenses, insurance, experience, facilities, risks, terms, and suitability before accepting services.
6. Provider relationships, fees, and conflicts
Kopru may have commercial relationships with selected providers, agencies, platforms, or other partners. Kopru may receive commissions, referral fees, service fees, success fees, administrative fees, or other compensation if a user chooses certain services.
These commercial relationships do not create a medical endorsement, medical guarantee, fiduciary duty, or promise of outcome. Where relevant, you may ask Kopru for general information about how we are compensated in connection with a proposed provider or service.
7. Quotes, prices, payments, and cancellations
Any prices, quotes, package descriptions, estimated costs, availability windows, payment timings, refund terms, or cancellation terms shown or communicated through Kopru are for coordination and planning unless expressly confirmed by the relevant provider in writing.
Final medical pricing may change after consultation, examination, tests, imaging, complications, clinical findings, provider policy changes, currency changes, taxes, or scope changes. You are responsible for reviewing and accepting all provider payment, refund, deposit, cancellation, and no-show terms before paying or booking.
Unless Kopru expressly states otherwise in writing, payments for medical treatment and third-party services are paid to the relevant provider or supplier, not to Kopru. Kopru is not responsible for chargebacks, refunds, exchange rates, bank fees, tax treatment, or disputes with third-party payment processors.
8. Travel, visas, insurance, and local rules
You are responsible for passports, visas, entry requirements, travel restrictions, insurance, medical travel fitness, medication rules, customs rules, companion arrangements, and compliance with laws in your country, Turkey, and any transit country.
Kopru may help you identify practical questions to ask, but we do not provide legal, immigration, tax, insurance, or financial advice. You should confirm these matters with official authorities, insurers, qualified advisers, and the relevant providers.
9. Third-party services and links
The website or our communications may refer to, link to, or coordinate with third-party websites, providers, platforms, hotels, transport services, translators, insurers, payment processors, messaging platforms, and other suppliers. Third parties operate under their own terms, policies, professional duties, and legal responsibilities.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kopru is not responsible for third-party acts, omissions, delays, cancellations, refusals, price changes, advice, treatment, communications, websites, security practices, privacy practices, or service failures.
10. Medical risk and no outcome guarantee
Healthcare involves risk. Results vary by patient, provider, procedure, diagnosis, health status, compliance with instructions, complications, and other factors. No content, provider introduction, quote, coordination step, before-and-after image, review, rating, package, or communication from Kopru guarantees safety, suitability, success, timing, recovery, aesthetic result, pain level, complication-free treatment, or satisfaction.
You are responsible for obtaining and understanding informed consent from the provider before any treatment. You should ask the provider directly about risks, alternatives, contraindications, recovery, aftercare, medications, follow-up, complications, and emergency escalation.
11. Information you provide and consent to coordination
When you provide information to Kopru, you authorize us to use it to respond to your request and, where reasonably necessary, share relevant information with providers or partners for coordination. This may include sensitive health-related information if you choose to share it or if it is needed to support your request.
Do not send unnecessary sensitive information through general forms. If you send medical files, photos, test results, prescriptions, passport details, payment evidence, or similar materials, you confirm that you have the right to share them and understand that they may need to be shared with relevant providers or partners for the requested support.
12. Communications
Kopru may communicate through email, phone, WhatsApp, messaging apps, website forms, video calls, or other channels you use to contact us. You understand that ordinary communication channels may not be fully secure and that delivery may be delayed, blocked, misdirected, or unavailable.
You are responsible for keeping your contact details up to date and for checking important messages from providers and third parties. Kopru is not responsible for consequences caused by incorrect contact details, missed messages, spam filtering, platform outages, or delayed replies.
13. Website availability and content
We may update, suspend, withdraw, restrict, or discontinue any part of the website or services at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, virus-free content, or that the website will meet your needs.
Website content is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kopru disclaims all warranties, representations, and conditions, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including implied warranties of accuracy, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

16. Indemnity
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Kopru, its owners, directors, employees, contractors, agents, and partners harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your misuse of the website or services, your breach of these Terms, your unlawful conduct, your inaccurate information, or your violation of another person's rights.
17. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kopru and its owners, directors, employees, contractors, agents, and partners are not liable for medical outcomes, provider actions or omissions, treatment decisions, complications, travel disruption, visa issues, insurance refusal, accommodation issues, transfer issues, third-party service failures, lost documents, lost profits, loss of data, loss of opportunity, reputational loss, emotional distress, indirect loss, consequential loss, punitive damages, or decisions made based on website content or communications.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including mandatory consumer rights or liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or other liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

19. Governing terms and disputes
